Une nouvelle faille mise à jour dans Windows

Microsoft vient d'avertir les utilisateurs de Windows XP et tous ceux qui ont désactivé le mode protégé d'Internet Explorer sur d'autres versions de l'OS Microsoft qu'ils risquaient d'être victimes d'une attaque et qu'un tiers mal intentionné pouvait accéder à certaines informations stockées sur l'ordinateur.

Sont concernés par cette faille de sécurité Internet Explorer 5.01 Service Pack 4 de Windows 2000 Service 4, Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 de Windows 2000 Service Pack 4, Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7 et Internet Explorer 8 de Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows XP Service Pack 3 et Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2.

Microsoft prévient aussi que le mode protégé d'Internet Explorer peut limiter cette vulnérabilité sur Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7.

Pour le moment, Microsoft cherche la solution appropriée et apportera un correctif le plus rapidement possible. En attendant, l'utilisation d'un firewall est fortement recommandée.
